Fern I Vernal Equinox - ARCH X MERINDA

$965.00

Flowerless with feathery fronds, ferns are seen as a symbol of good luck. In some cultures, ferns represent new life and new beginnings or hope for the future.

This image is part of the original series, Vernal Equinox, a collaboration between ARCH and MERINDA. The series is inspired by the moment in the year when the sun is exactly above the equator and day and night are equal in length. The images celebrate the juxtaposition of light and dark and the inevitable return of longer days, filled with sunshine and blooms.

Each image is a kaleidoscope of florals, a perfect symmetry of nature and a reminder of new beginnings and the rebirth that is spring. Vernal Equinox was photographed by Erin McCarthy in Wilmette, IL, in February 2023.

This piece comes with a signed certificate of authenticity. Sized 30” x 30”.

Image is printed in the US on hot pressed 100 percent cotton fine art paper - .43 mm thick. Paper is plant-based, acid-free and pH neutral inkjet printed with archival pigment inks.
